Did you know that chiropractic is one of the most effective solutions for Headaches?

We have helped many people throughout the years with headaches. It is a common myth that headache pain comes merely from stress.

Headaches can actually be caused from nerve irritation in the neck from misaligned or stiff joints, just like back pain can be caused by nerve irritation
in the lower spine. Therefore if the nerve irritation or blockages are not removed then the person can continue to have problems.


What Causes headaches?

There are several potential causes. If the neck is stressed from sleeping wrong, sitting in bad posture, or from a previous injury such as a
car accident then this can cause pressure on the neck and irritate the nerves in the area. Misalignments and stiffness occurs.

Headache is defined as pain in the head or upper neck.
It is one of the most common locations of pain in the body and has many causes.

Tension headaches are the most common type of primary headache;
as many as 90% of adults have had or will have tension headaches.
Migraine headaches are the second most common type of primary headache.
An estimated 28 million people in the United States (about 12% of the population)
will experience migraine headaches.


When there are problems with the neck and spine this can block the bodies ability to cope with the
situation adequately – that is when you get a headache or neck pain.
A headache is your body trying to tell you that there is a blockage somewhere in the neck or spine.


What is the Solution?

Remove the blockage in the spine and help realign the joints with Chiropractic
and other natural modalities.

This makes perfect sense as your body is trying to tell you what’s wrong and showing the pathway to fixing it! The next

The Power of Fish!

New research shows why eating
Fish (or Flax Seed Oil) is a great way to staying
healthy!


Why is every nutritionist raving about the
health benefits of eating fish? The first
reason is the omega-3 fatty acids found in
abundance in fish. What is the benefit of
omega-3 fatty acids? Harvard and others
have documented that omega-3 is
associated with a lowered risk for heart
disease!


What are the healthiest fish to eat? It is
generally agreed that cold water fish are
packed with omega-3’s, including these
types of fish:
• Salmon
• Mackerel
• Tuna
• Lake trout
• Sardines (yuck!)

**Also the plant version for omegas is FLAX SEED OIL
which anyone can eat on a daily basis with cereal or yogurt.


I’ve recently read some controversy over
so-called “farm raised fish.” It was alleged
that farm raised fish was not as healthy.
I’ll continue to monitor this, in
case new information becomes available.


The second reason to eat fish… is
because it might make you emotionally
happier. There is new evidence published
in the American Journal of Psychiatry that
suggests that an omega-3 acid called "EEPA"
prevents clinical depression. Six of
10 patients taking a fish-oil supplement noted
a 50% reduction in their depression levels.
My advice: Combining chiropractic with
a great diet is the path to a disease free life.
Eat fish (or Flax Seed oil) for good health – and it might just
put a smile on your face!

Low back pain -- ranging from mild discomfort to debilitating agony -- plagues nearly everyone at some point. But even mild low back pain can interfere with your life and your work.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons lists these common causes of low back pain:

* Lifting an object using the back, not the legs.
* Degenerative changes in the spine as people age.
* Straining the back during activity.
* An injury (tear or herniation) to a disc in the spine.
* Spondylolisthesis, a condition in which the vertebrae slip out of place and put pressure on nerves in the spine.
* Spinal stenosis, which occurs when the space around the spine narrows, resulting in pressure on nearby nerves and the spinal cord.
* Scoliosis, an abnormal curvature of the spine.
